Leslie McDevitt's versatile Control Unleashed program is designed to help "dogs with issues" learn how to relax, focus, and work off leash reliably in either stimulating or stressful situations.

Puppy Social drop-ins
Puppies 10-20 weeks old
This is a weekly drop-in class that will help start your puppy on the right paw! This class focuses on exposing your puppy to experiences they might have throughout their life, to help develop confidence and trust.
Pre-reqs: Up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines,
10-20 weeks old, and has been in your home for at least a week

Early puppyhood is a critical time for socialization and learning. Experiences during this time set the stage for the rest of your puppy's life.
The best time to socialize your puppy is between 7 and 16 weeks of age.

This 4 week class is great for those unruly and energetic puppies coming up on teenage hood or puppies trying to become comfortable with the environment. You will learn fun and engaging games to help build focus for the owner and learn to work around distractions.

Control Unleashed growing up
This class is for graduates of our Control Unleashed: Puppy class. We will continue to build on our foundational skills, while providing a fun and engaging environment for our growing adolescents! This class will help you and your pup navigate the world as they grow, and continue building your relationship during this trying developmental stage.

Foundations
Puppies/Dogs over 8 months
This 4 week class will teach you and your dog the skills you need to enjoy each other's company, and focus on you instead of the big, wide world! Whether your dog is ready to take on the world, or they are a bit unsure about it all -you will learn fun, engaging games and exercises to help you communicate with your dog.

Control Unleashed Working Together
This 4 week class is a continuation of the foundational skills learned in Control Unleashed Foundations. In this class you will be guided through exercises designed to teach dogs to manage their behavior in the presences of other dogs. You and your dog will learn how to navigate a space and to stay connected.
Pre-reqs: Vaccines, CU Foundations

Control Unleashed Specialty Classes
These 3 week classes will be focusing on loose leash walking or recall training with Control Unleashed games and exercises. These are perfect classes for students who have graduated our Foundations class and would like to strengthen those specific parts of training before moving onto our Working Together class.

Control Unleashed Life Skills
This 4 week class will teach you how to apply the skills you learn in the previous classes to real life scenarios. This may include navigating public settings, attending a non-CU class, or competing in a particular sport. You will learn how to set your dog up for success in a variety of environments.
