Some classes require prerequisites to join the next levels of the class series or instructor approval. Attendance for all classes require the following vaccines or titers: Rabies, Distemper and Parvo.

Puppy Social Drop-in
This is a weekly drop-in class that will help start your puppy on the right paw! This class focuses on exposing your puppy to experiences they might have throughout their life, to help develop confidence and trust.
We will talk about socialization, training, common puppy raising topics and have a fun play time for your puppy. This is a critical time in your puppies life and will determine how they view the world around them for years to come.
Pre-requisite:
8-16 weeks old (under 4 months old)
Minimum 1 round of Distemper/Parvo
Has been home for a week

Control Unleashed
Leslie McDevitt's versatile program, Control Unleashed, is designed to help "dogs with issues" learn how to relax, focus, and work off leash reliably in either stimulating or stressful situations. We will learn better communication and coping skills for our dogs to use to have conversations about the environment around them. This class also teaches owners how to read their dogs, the environment and how to communicate or respond according to that information being given. We will learn to become proactive instead of reactive.
Control Unleashed: Puppy - This is a class for puppies from 3 months old to 8 months, those unruly and energetic puppies coming up on teenage hood or puppies trying to become comfortable with the environment. We will start fun pattern games to help build engagement and focus for the owner and learn to work around distractions.

Control Unleashed: Foundations - In this 4 week class, we will cover the foundational skills necessary to work in a high distraction environment. The classroom environment will set every student up for success as you and your dog learn to connect with each other in this group setting.

Control Unleashed: Working Together - This 4 week class is a continuation of the foundational skills learned in Control Unleashed Foundations. In this class you will be guided through exercises designed to teach dogs to manage their behavior in the presences of other dogs. You and your dog will learn how to navigate a space and to stay connected.

Control Unleashed: Life Skills - This 4 week class will teach you how to apply the skills you learn in the previous classes to real life scenarios. This may include navigating public settings, attending a non-CU class, or competing in a particular sport. You will learn how to set your dog up for success in a variety of environments.

Specialty Control Unleashed Classes
I CU Off Leash - This class will help you and your dog set the foundations necessary to begin working off-leash in a variety of contexts. We will cover dealing with high-level distractions, how to assess risk vs. reward in off-leash scenarios, and strategies for when things go wrong. Off-leash control can take time to develop, especially in highly distracting contexts, so the best time to get started on it is now!

I CU Walking Nicely - This continuing Control Unleashed course is for dog and handler teams who have taken our Foundations class, and want to work specifically on games and set ups that help promote good leash walking skills. You and your dog will learn to move together, even when there are distractions present! If you want to reduce your dog's leash pulling, and stay connected on your walks, this is the class for you!

K9 Nose Work
K9 Nose Work harnesses the power of the canine nose and allows dogs to utilize both their powerful nose and their desire to hunt. The sport of Nose Work has now reached dogs of all ages, personalities, and sizes, and has made basic search-dog skills available to companion dogs.
Intro to Nose Work - This 8 week class will teach you and your dog how to get started in the sport of K9 Nose Work. This class is perfect for dogs and owners of all ages and types. The dogs will work one at a time to learn the basics of searching for food or toys indoors and outdoors. This class incorporates a two weeks break in between week 4 and 5 to allow practicing of the skills being learned.

Masters of Primary Drop-in - This is a drop-in style class that continues to build our dogs desire to hunt and understanding of how odor works while using food or toys. This allows us to introduce complicated odor profiles for the dog to solve while using a source that is very valuable to them.

Intro to K9 Nose Work
Price: $35 for 1 | $130 for 4 | $240 for 8
Intro to Odor I & II Workshops- This is a workshop style class that will span a few hours. Dogs will learn that the target odors have great value, and gain confidence searching for it in a variety of locations. They will also start to learn how to communicate with the human side of the team.

Masters of Scent Drop-in - Masters of Scent is a continuing, advanced level Nose Work class for those teams who want increasing challenges, including practice for competition at all levels. Focus will be on handler skills, odor obedience, and team skill building.

Intro Series or equivalent with instructor approval.
